In spite of the Gala being cancelled, the British Open Fell Runners Association (BOFRA) will be coming to Kirkby and running an event as part of their 2021 schedule of races.  This is a permitted activity as it is an organised sports event and is conducted under BOFRA rules.   Local senior runners wishing to participate must register in advance email with your details to   in order to comply with Covid 19 safety restrictions.
