Garden Observation competition

This annual competition runs over the 2 weeks leading up the Gala. Participating households place an object or ‘oddity’ in their garden. Something that would not usually be found in a garden. These households display a red diamond with a number. Competitors can then purchase an entry form from the village shop to take part.

They will need to find the ‘oddity’ in the participating gardens. Competitors do not enter any gardens but observe from the pavement. The ‘oddities’ are then written in the entry form. A winner is then picked out on Gala day and all entrants receive a free cake!
